Rumen is an outsider who lives with his grandmother and a sick aunt. His parents work abroad and are present in his life only through the screen of his phone. He is a head taller than the others and has too many pounds. He doesn't fit in. He is relentlessly bullied, day in and day out, but he says and does nothing. One day, when a boy tries to steal his phone - the only link to his parents - Rumen instinctively fights back and almost fatally injures the boy. Convinced that he is a murderer, Rumen runs away and hides in a nearby forest.
