Maren-Kea Freese

Maren-Kea Freese begins her filmmaking career with short films on Super 8, while working as an assistant director with Georg Tabori and Rosa von Praunheim. After her studies at the dffb, she makes various short films, including ZOE, AMOR FATI, SPRUNG INS LEERE and KOJOTENWEG 13. ZOE is her graduation and debut film. ZOE has been screened at numerous international festivals, including the Forum of the Berlin International Film Festival and various other film festivals in Moscow, Gothenburg, Lodz, London, Paris, Glasgow and Belgrade. Maren-Kea Freese lives and works in Berlin.
